You will recall that I recently received the Nobel Prize for Peace for ‘significant contributions to the development of inter-species cooperation and harmony’. And why not? Are only human beings entitled to strive for peace amongst them? (If Barrack Obama can win one, so can canine!)
Other species are generally easy-going and live out their lives peacefully. But it is the interface with Homo sapiens, which is invariably ridden with strife and tension. I appeared on TV and wrote articles, appealing for peace and greater tolerance, sacrifice and forgiveness. The voice of reason is often met with derision and skepticism, but all great things come from a lonely voice persistently making a point.
